I understand human reproduction but was interested to learn some differences in canine reproduction. I always appreciate learning more!

I bought the video after failing to get a bitch pregnant. It was side by side breeding and she appears to be a slow curve. But according to the video and plotting the progesterone values, we covered her properly and she should have conceived. This will be helpful with my conversations with my repro vet next time. I do wonder if stress/Cortisol was a factor due to progesterone tests and travel. She never really was receptive to the stud dog thus the side by sides. His fertility was confirmed by the vet there. So still a few factors to look at but incredibly helpful video and has helped me eliminate some of my concerns in regards to ovulation and timing.

I wish vets would watch this! It's a timing issue with most bitches. I wasted great semen listening to vets that didn't know what to do.... hoping to have pups in the future and finding a great repro vet.
