With Open Arms and a Level Head

I'm sure it works if you get your puppy young enough but at 10 weeks, this was not really useful for my puppy. She had no interest in training past 60 seconds, no interest in ANY treat used or toy so training has been impossible and virtually non existent. Whether I need more breed specific training, or it's me or my dog, I don't know. I'm now seeking professional one to one help before giving up and returning the puppy to the breeder.

We got our puppy, a male 16 week old standard poodle, after losing our last boy to cancer just before Xmas. We originally thought we’d wait for six months but this little boy, Agi, was available and we thought being a bit older a lot of the socialisation skills would probably already be taken care of. A lot were but he’d also picked up a stubborn playfulness that I wouldn’t have had a clue how to tackle without your help. We’re long time dog owners and had a pair of poodles for more than thirteen years so thought we could just use our prior dog club knowledge, but I have found your insight and thoughtful methods very valuable. We’ve had Agi for a bit over two weeks now and with your help and being prepared to do the work and be patient he’s coming along well. So thank you for your course!

I found this program to be excellent and highly recommend it. I wish though that I was able to go back and review the program from time to time, but saw that once I completed it I could not go back.

I am really enjoying the course I am hoping to get through before I bring my puppy home then I will go through the course again!
